Inspection Marks & Certifications

Certification, why is it essential?

Both from the perspective of a job seeker and as a hirer, you naturally want to know whether you are dealing with a reliable party.

Trust and Certainty; At your service!
We find human well-being very important, which is why we have chosen to comply with all important certifications. This gives confidence in the collaboration and certainty for the future. But what exactly do the certifications mean and what do they stand for? Let's go through a few of them:

NEN standard:
If you are certified as a temporary employment agency according to the NEN 4400-1 standard, this gives your clients the certainty that you will comply with your employment law obligations. Because if you, as a temporary employment agency, do not meet these obligations, the Tax Authorities can hold the hirer liable. The hirer may then receive an additional assessment or fine. Your client does not want to run that risk and so he will only work with a certified employment agency.

An employment agency certified in accordance with this NEN standard will in any case comply with the following legal obligations arising from employment:
> The declaration and payment of payroll taxes and sales tax due
> Paying wages according to the WML
> Administering identification documents and carrying out identity checks and checks on whether you are entitled to work in the Netherlands.

SNA registry
The SNA quality mark was created precisely to limit these risks for labor hirers and work clients. SNA stands for Labor Standards Foundation. The SNA quality mark is the quality mark for all temporary employment agencies and (sub)contractors of work. The SNA provides the SNA quality mark based on the NEN 4400-1 standard. Every employment agency certified (according to the NEN 4400-1 standard) is included in the SNA register.

VCU certification
To Your Service mediates temporary workers who also perform risky work or work in a risky environment, then you would be wise to also consider VCU certification. VCU stands for Safety and Health Checklist of Employment Organizations. This is mainly intended for temporary workers who work in factories or on construction sites, workshops and installations. These clients are usually VCA certified themselves. The client has the authority and supervision, including over the temporary workers hired by him, but this client can demand that the employment agency they work with has a VCU certificate. This certificate indicates that as a temporary employment agency you, together with your candidates and clients, are committed to a good safety culture.

SNCU
An organization that we at To Your Service also deal with is the Foundation for Compliance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Temporary Agency Workers (SNCU). The SNCU provides information about the Collective Labor Agreement for Temporary Workers and monitors compliance with the Collective Labor Agreement. The SNCU therefore acts as an enforcer to ensure that temporary workers receive fair remuneration and thus strives for a level playing field for temporary employment agencies.

Stichting Normering Flexwonen
The Flex Living Standards Foundation (SNF) manages the register of companies that meet the standard for housing for migrant workers and maintains the standards. Elements such as space and privacy, sanitary facilities, safety and hygiene, facilities, information provision, fire safety and good employment practices are considered. Each part has specific requirements that the housing must meet. At Your Service is included in this register and we are proud of that!
